It can be processed into nickel-plated steel, nickel-plated copper, nickel-plated silver and synthetic nickel steel, nickel-chromium steel and so on by electroplating and metal synthesis. Because of its large reserves and simple extraction, the price is much lower than copper, its ductility resolution shape can be diversified, and welding technology is mature, can use a variety of welding equipment, its corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance resolution nickel sheet is not easy to rust, and the use cycle is relatively long. And its ferrophilic properties make it easier to blend with iron, tin and other metals. Due to some of the above characteristics, a large number of nickel sheets and nickel alloys are used in the processing of lithium batteries to cause tinning products.


What equipment is the main use of nickel sheet welding, mainly pulse hot press welding machine (that is, haba welding), energy storage welding machine, resistance heating soldering iron welding, and laser nickel sheet welding machine and other welding equipment. The main advantages of Haba welding are low cost, easy maintenance and low defect rate. However, the defects are also very obvious, because it is the way to adjust the current pulse power to weld, so it is easy to show virtual welding, fried welding, tin splashing, welding spot ugly, etc., and the welding defect rate is relatively high. The energy storage welding machine is mainly through the principle of capacitor storage and high voltage concentrated discharge to stop the welding, the main advantages are short welding time, low cost, suitable for manual spot welding of lithium batteries. Its defects are large welding spark splash, poor equipment stability and high attenuation rate of capacitance, relatively high defect rate, not suitable for a large range of welding processing. The laser nickel sheet welding machine is composed of a laser light source, that is, a laser and a moving structure. Its defect is that the cost is relatively high and the maintenance cost is high. However, the advantages of laser nickel sheet welding machine are also corresponding, which belongs to non-contact welding, and the welding head does not need to suspend daily grinding and maintenance, and the current laser power is adjustable, which can ensure the divergence of optical power, reduce the production of virtual welding and fake welding. And because of its high-performance automatic operation structure, it can be efficient and high-quality consumption, which is very suitable for modern assembly line operation. At present, it is mainly applied to the welding of steel shell and aluminum shell cover plate in the battery industry, and in recent years, the welding of PACK maintenance plate has also begun to be used.
